Walking is a fantastic way to see the sights around Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Harbour walks are designed to take you past some of the most spectacular areas of Sydney.

You can choose from many outstanding Sydney Harbour foreshore walks which include:

Circle Walk, 26 kms, from Sydney Harbour Bridge to Hunters Hill, passing through bushland and historic streets, over headlands and along the foreshore. Loops reveal scenic and historic areas. The walk is divided into north and south sides, each taking 5 hours.

Sydney Harbour Bridge to Spit Bridge Walk, 17 kms, wends back through history visiting sites of the First Fleet, Federation, whaling and sites of Aboriginal significance as well as rainforest, bushland, park and foreshore environments.

If you want to stay longer and prolong the enjoyment, overnight accommodation is available along the routes. Alternately, public transport – bus, train, ferry or metro light rail – is often available.

Many spectacular short walks of between one to ten klms are easily accessible including the South Head Heritage Trail, renown for its panoramic views, and the Manly Scenic Walkway taking in beaches, Aboriginal sites, forests and more.
